Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28, 1977, is an American actress , best well-known for her character in 24 and for the voice work that she did for Tess in Naughty Dog’s game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis. She graduated in 1995 from Crossroads College Preparatory School. In her early years she was a competitor in Irish dance and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching's acting debut was a guest appearance in Star Trek: Enterprise. Later, Wersching was invited to star on guest shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March 2007 to November 2007, she played in the role of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. She has also worked in theatres such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching was FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season time in 24 Wersching was a guest on several shows which included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which also features the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she appeared as a series regular for the initial season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching was the catcher of the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was revealed that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us, Wersching was the voice and mo-cap actor of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character via Twitter before her appearance in the Spike Video Game Awards trailer that was shown on December 7 in 2012. Wersching was cast as the role of the Borg queen in Star Trek the second season of Picard, which will premiere in September 2021.
