Rita Ora Bio
Rita Ora, a British artist and singer. Rita Sahatciu Ora was a British singer-songwriter and singer who was born to Vera Bajraktari and Besnik Sahatciu in Pristina, Kosovo in 1990. She is a granddaughter of director Besim Sahatciu. When she was just one, her family decided to move to the United Kingdom. Her birthplace was in West London, attended St Cuthbert with St Matthias CE Primary School at Earls Court and graduated from Sylvia Young Theatre School. She began singing from a young age.In 2004 she appeared in the British film Spivs. She was chosen to audition for Eurovision Your Country is in need of You the British contestant for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. However she walked out of the contest after just a few episodes because she didn't feel like she was ready. Her first music release came in 2007, when she featured in Craig David's track "Awkward", and again in 2008 on "Where is Your Love" with Tinchy Stryder. Also, she appears in the music videos. Ora began singing in bars and clubs around London and in 2009 a A&R told Roc Nation about Ora, within a couple of days Ora flew out to New York and met Jay-Z. Ora was featured in Jay-Z's 2009 video for "Young Forever", and "Over" by Drake. Jay-Z saw Ora and shrewdly signed her up to Roc Nation. She was part of a commercial that featured Skullcandy Aviator Headphones. She started singing from the same place where her father, Besnik, was a pub owner. Gwen Stefani was her major influence. Her father was a bar owner , and she began singing in the same bar. Kate Moss and Ed Sheeran are close friends.
